Procedures:

Permabril HE Reactives at 175°F

Prepare, rinse, and nuetralize fabric as needed.

  1. 1. Set dyebath at 100°F
    Add:      0.5% wetting agent
                   1.0% sequestering agent (as needed)
                   Salt over 10 minutes (see chart
    2. Run 5 minutes. (check salt concentration with salometer)
    3. Add Permabril HE Reactive Dyes (dissolved at 175°F and cooled)
    4. Heat to 175°F at 3°F/min.
    5. Run 20 minutes.
    6. Add 1/3 amount of soda ash. Run 5 minutes.
    7. Add 1/3 amount of soda ash. Run 5 minutes.
    8. Add 1/3 amount of soda ash.
    9. Run 45 minutes.
    10. Sample. If shade ok drop bath.
    11. Rinse at 140-160°F for 5 minutes.
    12. Drop bath and repeat rinse.
    13. Set fresh bath with:
           1.0% scouring agent
    14. Heat to 212°F and run 15 minutes.
    15. Drop bath.
    16. Refill with warm water (140-160°F) and rinse til clear.
    17. Drop bath.
    18. Soften as needed.
